The Lac York (York Lake) outdoor activity center is situated on Route 198, a few kilometres from Murdochville. This charming vacation resort offers a range of activities and services in a rich and attractive natural environment.

The lake offers two much sought after species of fish for sports fishermen: brook trout (salvelinus fontinalis) and arctic charr (salvelinus alpinus).

Besides fishing, set up camp in one of 90 magnificent campsites or in one of six available chalets.

Nature lovers will appreciate the outdoor activity center’s groomed hiking trails and a fifteen kilometre bicycle trail, where one can enjoy a tour around the lake. Hikers can also admire all facets of nature. .
