Murdochville’s sports complex groups together many installations. The sports center includes a municipal swimming pool, a curling club, a bowling alley and a skating rink. It’s the perfect place to practice sports in winter and summer.

During winter, the curling and skating facilities are functional and the semi-pro hockey team “Les Anodes des Vallées” gets down to work. The bowling alley opens its doors from September to June. On weekdays you can practice this sport individually or through inscription in the numerous bowling leagues. Weekends are a time for tournament play.

In summer the curling facilities are closed but the hall remains available for rent for various occasions such as : evenings of dance, balls, private celebrations, etc. The skating rink’s ice is transformed into an immense gymnasium for the practice of sports such as badminton, volleyball, tennis, hockey ball, in-line skating, etc. The swimming pool is open in summer and swimming lessons and aqua-aerobics are offered from May to August..
